This is the month for developing our Solos, Duets, and Trios… And we have a lot this year! It is imperative that you get on the June Schedule ASAP. Before beginning, we ask that everyone get your contracts and waivers signed if you haven’t already. Solo Duet and Trio Checklist

Step 1 Make sure your music choice has been submitted for review and editing.

Step 2 Text me to get on the schedule (First Come First Serve)

First booking needs to be a two hour block

Days I have available are Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays

I am available mornings and evenings these days

I’ll be adding the solo fee in the portal

Step 3 After your first initial 2 hour choreography session is over make sure to schedule your cleaning sessions. These only need to be 1 hour per session.

Avant Garde Tuition for our Summer Semester (July and August) will be Combined since its only a five week session. The Breakdown for that is $13.50 per hour/4 hours a week totaling $270.00

Avant Garde

  • Dress Code for summer intensives (Im not requiring Leotards for summer intensives)
  • Dancer must arrive with hair in a low bun
  • Dancer must arrive in form fitting dance wear. No baggy pants, shorts, or shirts. I need to see lines and anatomy so I can correct alignment issues.
  • Avant Garde Dancers need skin toned ballet slippers (I’m putting an order in mid June)

Avant Garde Summer Semester Blocks

Everyone that contacted me has been placed on the day you requested. Everyone else, I placed on a day with people that I know live close, so you have the opportunity to car pool. I did have to change the time frame for the Tuesday girls because not everyone could make the 10:00am. I moved it to 1:00-5:00 to help with the girls that are involved in their school practices. Curriculum for Summer Semester Ballet, Ballet Center Floor, Turns and Leaps, Acrobatics, Choreography (I highly suggest taking a Tumbling Class this summer on your off days if you have time) A Lot of people love Pitchers Tumbling and Cheer Located in Uintah Please inform us if you need to miss so we can record video and send the class to you. Tuition is final no refunds for missed classes.

Internship Opportunity For Our Full Time Students

Last but not least and this is very exciting, we’re creating an internship program for our full time dancers turning 16 and up in age. This program is here to train our future instructors in Choreography, Class Outlines, Dancers Alignment Conditioning, and Judging. There will be required training hours (these are unpaid) Then we will be offering assistant positions and the pay for these hours starts at $10.00 an hour. As your training, teaching skills and certifications progress we will be offering pay raises. If your child is of age and will be turning 16 within this upcoming dance season, please start working on your Resume or Bio. The deadline for those interested is August 1st.

* Please note we will be having our instructors sign a non compete clause with our nearest competitive dance studios (Allure Dance Academy, Energy Dance Company, Eminence Dance Company). The methods I teach, I’ve spent years and thousands of dollars developing. We just want to keep what we hold near and dear, and what sets us apart within our community.
